English Sporting

We have 20 sporting traps around the shoot presenting, high Pheasant, Teal, Rabbit, driven and crossers.

English Skeet

The Skeet layout is situated at the highest point of the shooting ground and targets are thrown by means of a wireless remote. Skeet can also be shot, by solo shooters, via a voice activated release. Please ask at the cabin for details.

English Skeet (rules simplified) consists of a round of 25 targets shot over 7 stands. Stands 1,2,4,6 & 7are shot as a combination of high house, low house and a pair (one shot at each) with stands 3 & 5 being a single high house and a single low house.The first target missed on the round should be taken again. Should you reach the end without missing a target you have achieved a score of 24, the remaining 25th shot on stand 7 can be either a high or low house target.

DTL (Down The Line)

The DTL layout is located on the left, halfway up to the Skeet range.

DTL (rules simplified) consists of a round of 25 targets shot over 5 stands, i.e. 5 targets per shooting stand with full use of the gun (both barrels at same target, if required). Target broken with first shot = 3pt, 2nd shot, 2pts and 0 points for a miss.

Compak Sporting

Comak Sporting (rules simplified) A round is made up of 25 targets, i.e. 5 targets per shooting stand under one of the following formulas:

• Five (5) single targets,
• Three (3) single targets and one (1) double,
• A (1) single target and two (2) doubles.
Both barrels can be used if necessary at single targets. Scoring is 1pt for target broken, 0pts for a miss.
